| Winter 2007 in Melbourne0022h GMT+10 Hey, how are you doing folks? It's been a while since I've been here. But it's been a pretty tough semester. Who would have thought Masters was gonna be this tough? Apparently, not I. It didn't help that I had problems form home too, but it's coming to pass, and I'm glad for that, especially if the trend continues. I'm definitely hoping the reduced load next semester will help. And I've got to start looking for a casual job, plus putting everything else back in order too. I'm burning far too much, financially. I swear I gotta start working out a proper budget soon. Anyway, I've just got my grades for this semester, and they're pretty alright. Could be better, but in the midst of the chaos which I call my mid-sem exams, I could say that I got what I expected, and one actually one up better than I thought I deserved. So, all-in-all, they're fairly alright. Nothing but the thought of that to relax and free up my mind being in the state of mind that I'm in now: Melbourne-free. Seriously, it wouldn't have been possible without the help of my friends here (in Brisbane). If it's not for them (and their pressure), who knew what kind of grades I would have got. Thanks, guys. No, really, thank you. Once I'm done full-on burning in Melbourne, it's back to the usual drill. But for now, I shall enjoy this winter moment here. |
